Cumbersome AAM AADMI PARTY!!!

India has seen many rulers raping the system and citizens’ rights from many centuries. In 1947, India got the liberty to see the dawn of independence, new system, feel of OUR PEOPLE, growth, development & self-dependence which has been accompanied by many other intricate tasks for the political leaders and for the citizens.
Many leaders played dirty politics, exploited the system and people’s privilege as a citizen. Jawaharlal Nehru to Manmohan Singh, every leader has been accused with different charges by groups and people for not doing the work as a leader. It is a fact that leaders have not been successful in performing their roles as ministers, mps and mlas, but on the other side our Social tranche compelled the politicians to play dirty games with the citizens of India.
AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) evolved with an intention to eradicate Corruption from India, which they feel is the root cause diverting politicians towards it than playing role in developing the nation. I feel corruption evolve because of People’s greed towards earning Easy Money.
AAP formed minority government in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal gained CM’s seat for Delhi State. Will Ideology of AAP be successful in developing India? Will it be able to provide Growth and generate cash inflows for India? I have a big doubt as they have a pure Socialist mentality! They run away from Growth model and make people promises which are too intricate to achieve.
AAP in their manifesto has mentioned only social facilities but I do not see a single point describing about developing industries. They are projecting themselves as a NATIONAL PARTY and want to contend for LS elections, Kejriwal should know that criticizing on the lacunas is very easy and can be done by any person, but to be in the govt shoes and to act is a very difficult task in India as we are united by a nation while divided by castes, minorities, regionalism and other deep rooted beliefs.
Let’s have a glimpse of their Manifesto for Delhi Elections
·         50% deduction in Electricity bills
·         Free 700 liters of  water to every Delhi house holds
·         Clean Sewages
·         DELHI JAN LOKPAL
·         End of Corruption in Delhi
·         Clean Delhi
·         Safe Delhi
·         High quality education in Delhi
·         Improving Public health care
·         Swift & Fair Justice
·         Devolution of power to Gram Sabha
·         Increase Employment & End of contractual jobs
·         Many other are there!!!
Let us take an example of Electricity: Cutting bills by 50% will give a load of Rs. 7000 crore on Delhi govt. annually!! Already facing power deficits, how is it possible for power generation and distribution companies to provide power at so low prices! This will be an idiotic step.
Above mentioned glimpse of points will give burden of Rs. 11000 crore (approx.) annually which can’t be adjusted by taxing as AAP also wants to reduce State taxes!
Why AAP should not form Govt.?
1)      Populist agendas (Social in nature)
2)      No proper planning about how to run a government.
3)      No credible leader
4)      No Focus on INFLOW of Cash and Dollars
5)      NO Industrial development (They feel all industrialists are corrupt)
6)      No Vision for country
7)      If corruption stops, will they close the party?
8)      All cost, no income source
9)      They are not clear about state administrations
10)   No a single involvement in knowing the problems of cross borders…
11)   Unrealistic Promises to public

This AAM AADMI PARTY is definitely going to create burden on Government. They do not have a single view to grow the country. Once growth is there, development will follow.
We Indians have been trusting AAP so much because we want hassle free life with all growth and developments  in a period of 5-6 years which is impossible for 1.25 billion populated economy.
If AAP says they can, I doubt their ability and I am sure that ARVIND KEJRIWAL & GANG will rape Indian Economy and all will be beggars!

Nothing can happen over tea?

With the ongoing battle for Redefining the National Drink between TEA & MILK, one thing had tweaked my mind and insisted me to think Why Nothing can happen over Tea????

This debate is very close to my tongue as I am a TEA LOVER!!! Tea, if we see from commercial point of view may be the most revenue generating drink over coffee with lesser investment or capital (In India). But, coffee is considered more premium & stylish than tea, why is it so??? Tea with the origin from CHINA, may be considered as Out of the class beverage as it is a Chinese Product, while Coffee is sympathized or advocated by European as it is originated from Ethiopia!!!???

Whatever is the consideration of the world is why tea is not a stylish drink than coffee????

Certain points that have made my mind to put the thoughts are:

1)    On the date with girl, you will always ask for Coffee not Tea.

2)    On the date with girl, one will take her to Café coffee day rather than Tea spot!! (sounds logical to save the date)

3)    Tea has cup while Coffee has mug!! We buy Coffee Mug not Tea Mug

4)    Tea is consumed by Sales Guys, while Coffee by HR Managers.

5)    Tea has Local Brand Names (Wagh Bakri, Jivraj, Somabhai etc.) with global presence, while Coffee has International Brand Names (Nestle, Bru etc.)

6)     All High society ladies drink coffee, not tea!! Why so?

7)    Tea has Kitli (small shops) while Coffee has Barista, CCD, why? What so special, coffee?

8)    Tea helps to keep sleep away, while coffee cannot.

9)    People enjoy Coffee, & spend 100s of Rupees behind Mocha, Cold coffee etc.

10)    Coffee is being served in Air condition while TEA in HEAT!

11)    People drink Star bucks coffee but no bucks for TEA?

12)    TV Shows are produced with coffee (Koffee with Karan), why not Tea with Karan?

13)    Coffee has beautiful ladies to endorse it (Deepika padukone), while Tea has no one!

14)    Coffee ads have International jingles, while Tea ads have Local feel!!

15)    Tea being served with 3 tea cups in one hand, while Coffee in Special Plate!! (Sophistication)

16)    Coffee does not have different tastes while Tea has it! Then why tea is not global drink!

There can be many more arguments on deprived Tea, but whether one believes it or not, both the drink symbolizes the different status!  A single beverage (coffee) can create big business (revenue), why can’t tea? Lot can happen over coffee but nothing can happen over tea? This is a puzzling question, which always click my mind when I drink tea.

What is there in Coffee, that it has created so huge and premium market that Tea cannot generate globally or nationally? Taste, Flavor, Availability, Preparation etc.! What makes coffee so highly positioned beverage than tea? Why price of Café Mocha is higher than that of Darjeeling Tea as the later is much more famous than the previous one?
What has made coffee much highly positioned, status oriented & global product? Is it Product Positioning, Product Elements (quality), Brand awareness/ recall, Target Groups? What else?

Why Tea fails over Coffee when it comes to sophisticated revenue generation? The question is still a puzzled and unanswered!

FDI- the much awaited & debated policy change

It has been almost 20 years now, when the government of India has opened the door for the foreign investors and business to foray in to the India market. Manmohan Singh, the then finance minister of country announced the policy of allowing the foreign companies to invest in the country. With this decision, Indian business has started feeling the taste of growth and also, the government’s decision was applauded by all country mates. But now, again with the passage of time, the same person who has been applauded for bringing the economical reforms in the country is under immense pressure to prove his merits of allowing Foreign Direct Investment in Retail Sector.
The decision to allow the FDI in retail sector is being contemplated since 2002 by NDA government, but now when UPA government has taken the decision to allow foreign business to grow in the unorganised retail sector; it is being severely criticized by the oppositional political parties (NDA). Government has propagated the reform in the retail sector, but from past 7-8 days of Parliamentary sessions, there is no feasible consensus for FDI proposal by the government. I cannot understand one thing about our political parties that why they always want to politicize the issues? Is Indian politics so dumb that no one is communicating the benefits and losses of FDI? If FDI in retail sector is much awaited regime, then why it is debated?

Benefit to farmers?

Government is saying that with the 100% foreign investment in Single Brand retail, the retail stores will directly procure from Farmers, but government has not highlighted that despite of direct procurement, farmers need intermediate channels to deliver the vegetables and fruits. If intermediate channels will be created, the pricing issue will again erupt and push inflation because if we see historical data on India’s inflation the average rate of inflation has been around 4.5 to 5%, and looking to the current situation, there cannot be possibilities of inflationary pressure taming down its trend. In 2003, government has also allowed the procurement of vegetables and fruits from farmers in an illusion that farmers will be at benefit, but the actuality is different. To gain the vote banks, government has given loan waivers to debt trapped farmers to support them financially to reduce the suicide cases amongst farmers. But, if we see the data, Rs. 72000 crore loan waiver has not boosted the agricultural produce. By providing such futile waivers, government is paralyzing themselves into the national debt. In most parts of India, farmers are only getting benefits because of the escalation in the land prices. So, government should not say that FDI in retail will improve the lives of farmers.

Job Opportunities?
Job opportunities will be created according to the government, but I feel the statement of government spoke person is murky. Hypothetically considering that FDI will create jobs in the country, but who will they employ? What educational background the companies will seek at? Do we have that many educational institutes who can create good retail professionals? If we have a rough look on the unorganized retail which constitutes almost 90% of the retail business in the country, but mostly owned by in-adequately educated people. So, can mammoth retailers provide them job? Ultimately, government will again slip down in the Human Development Index because of probable increase in unemployment. Though, government is focused on creating opportunities for Youth but they should also not be oblivion towards mid aged groups. If government wants to allow foreign currencies through such economical reforms, then pragmatic policies must be framed for a balanced economy.

Decision of allowing Foreign Direct investment in the retail should again be contemplated also by considering the corporate view points about the same because probably the decision to welcome more foreign exchange can hamper the slow growth rate in the manufacturing sector and service sector and there are chances that the decision to allow foreign investment may eat away the small scale industries & farmers. The floor limit for FDI is also big that government can bring good amount of foreign currency in the economy through this route.  DIPP should play an active role to ease the issue meticulously because if government fails to recognize the benefits and losses, then there are chances of our economy can witness adverse effects.
